Hails and Farewells
We said goodbye to Jewel, Morgan, and Alanni last month. We wish them well on their new ventures. We welcome back Trakara and Nykia. We also had Kayla, Julianne, and Precious join the HOPE family.
Mara's Memos
We had a fantastic start to the new school year. Thanks so much for all your patience and attention to the details. Hopefully, everyone has settled into a routine by now and the back to school traffic has calmed down. Please make sure you have downloaded the ProCare App, so you can receive updates from your teachers. We are excited to offer Picture Day here for your convenience. It is always a crazy day, so be prepared. All pictures will be taken on Thursday, September 10th. Please bring your child dressed and ready for pictures as they usually start with the little ones at 7:30am. Send in a change of clothing, including shoes for after their individual pictures. Make sure your teacher knows which clothes you want your child changed into. The class pictures will be taken after all individual pictures have been completed, so they will be in their everyday clothes for the class pictures. Your child will not go out to recess until after their individual picture is taken. If you have an older child or you want to get in the picture too, please let the office know and we will gladly make those arrangements. All siblings will take pictures separately and together. Please do not take your child directly to the photographer, unless the office directs you to do so, as that interferes with our process and most children do better without a parent present. Our teachers will be administering the ASQ's (please see handbook for more information) to your children this month. If there are any concerns, we will make a copy of the ASQ for you to administer at home as well. If you see the same concerns, we recommend you take it to your child's pediatrician for further discussion.

Things to Remember
Make sure you have a complete change of summer clothes, including socks, in your child's cubby. Keep a light jacket/sweatshirt in the cubby year round. Sneakers recommended. No drop off during nap time. No drop offs after 9:30 am without a doctor's note. You must call before 9:30 am to let us know if you will be late and bring in the doctor's note.. Tuition is due on Mondays. A $4 late fee will be added at noon starting on Wednesday and every day thereafter until the balance is paid in full.. The credit card swipe fee is $3 every time a card is used. Please send in a labeled water bottle daily. Please apply sunscreen in the mornings before dropping off your child. If you want us to reapply sunscreen in the afternoon, you must fill out a medication authorization form. Do not leave sunscreen in your child's cubby.
